This revolt is leading to new Reddit users, those that stayed have lost their faith in Digg. Is it all downhill from here for Digg?

Oh and it's not the end of digg. If TW taught me anything is this stuff blows over, and quick.

I hope digg dies. They deserve only the most miserable, permanently devastating financial failure for banning TW.

I'm sure Digg had to do this because lawsuits were threatened by some very big companies. Google would do the same thing. Too many people let the whole open source thing get to their heads. They have a 10 year olds perspective of business law and even worse, they feel they have some right to supercede it.

Although we are unbanned, any story I submit to Digg gets buried in a matter of seconds. I wish they'd go down so someone would use our front page :P

I wasn't aware you could copyright a number...It's not a copyright issue. It's a DMCA issue. Since the key can be used to circumvent encryption and that act is outlawed by the DMCA the HD-DVD group can order takedown notices.

Another example why the DMCA is one of the worst and most abused laws every written.
