Buried in a long post about Vanguard's future, Sigil Games mentions a new targeted advertising campaign and viral marketing. The next Galaxies?

Sorry but going from 32+ professions to 9 isn't an upgrade.

The game is good, and shows a lot of promise, but it was rushed out the door early due to lack of funds. They want to accumulate some cash from sony and subs to release the game they intended.

This isn't anything like NGE, or the famous combat upgrade for galaxies. This is finishing an un-finished game.

Personally I don't know if I'll keep playing, the game is great, but the bugs are too many atm, and my system can't handle it as good as I'd like.

I played VG...Just cancelled today.

Terrible bismanagement on the part of Brad Mcquaid and Jeff Butler.

Game isn't horrible, just isn't worth the shit it could havebeen.

sounds like this is more like the WW2 Online relaunch than the SWG relaunch.

What the guy says they wanna do, and what they wind up doing, will determine how well it goes. Another Santa's list full of promises; if they aren't fulfilled, we won't care.

However, if they remake the game and include the ability to be a pirate on your own ship? Win.

I like Brad Mcquaid. He made a nice long post on a forum i read sometimes (mmorpg.com, filled with idiots mind you) and he gives me the impression he honestly just loves the genre and fantasy games in general.

I'm upgrading my computer soon, and i'll give the game a shot. I feel they deserve my money, and i'd love to try it, even it is still basically in beta.

And reading the reviews that are out is rather pointless. You can't review an MMORPG within the first couple months it is out, let alone an mmorpg that was rushed out the doors on purpose. Give it a year from release date to give a full review.
