Outlook Requires Microsoft Outlook Express 4.01

I have IE 7 installed; meaning OE 6 is present.
But the install of Outlook I got with my phone is from 2002, and it does not see the newer OE as installed.
It is also a standalone...not part of an Office install.
Anyone ever run into this before?

Those fixes only cover 95, 98 & NT.
Nothing for XP.

Yeah, I saw a couple of forum posts that were talking about the same thing on other sites. Something about having office installed does something? Maybe look into that.

I got outlook xp with my phone.
No office at all.
