Farming Woes (Trade Question As Well).

Being a Holy Paladin, sometimes it's really hard to go farm things easily, such as Primal Fire/Air, etc. My guild raids a lot and we're making solid progress so far in Serpentshrine so I can't really go respec everyday. I managed to get an epic mount, however. Anyone else having this problem?

I have a 60 druid and a 60 priest. My friend wants to trade me his 60 mage for my 60 druid. What do you guys think about the trade? What would make a better farming toon and occasional pvp for fun.

I have a 70 paly (41 holy, 20 prot) and a 70 Mage, I use the mage for farming the paly works fine but the mage is so fast there isn't much point to use the paly even on mobs up to level 73 that I farm.

If you like playing a mage it would be a decent trade, but I wouldn't do it just for farming.

Yeah i screwed up leveling my pally, skipped HFP/zang to get ahead of everyone but when i came back at 70 there were tons of grey quests, still 1k short of am epic mount. Would also like to craft some blessed bracers, but grinding 170 motes of water as 41/20 is so slow :/

One of the best ways to make money if you don't have an epic mount (which you do) and herbalism/mining, is to level another toon.

Because of the gear available in BC, both your druid and priest would level quite well as feral/shadow priest, and the money you get from questing, selling the random drops you get, etc. is pretty decent.

When I need money badly I just level my hunter or some other toon in outlands for an hour or so and come out with a few hundred gold, including AH stuff.

keep the druid and spec it as a boomkin. If you don't raid with it no one will really care. You might even be able to take it to fun raids by the time you hit 70. It will kill just as fast as a mage and will be able to stealth into instances and do that whole thing if you want.

As far as mote farming, my paly is prot and it does take forever unless you're ret. I like stacking tons of SD and going with that. The new Imp SoR is going to speed things up so that's nice.

No reason to not have gold in the expansion anymore. I farmed out 3kg in like 8 hours just knocking out a quest zone and a half on my 70 without any epic drops. Level your alts on rested exp in instances or whatever. You can pretty much stretch hellfire/zangar/terrokar to 70 on rested alone and that will leave you with 4 zones of quests that give you 10-30g a pop + item and the drops you get from the mobs you kill.

Seems like that's all people do in WoW anymore. What a sad game this has become :(

Grinding motes sucks.

But if you're in it for pure cash and ran out of quests you can AE grind like 20 melee mobs at a time.

Like prot grinding, just more consecrate and mana used.
