Linksys BEFSX41

Woke up this morning to check tdubs and got no connectivity to the internet. I glanced over at the router(a linksys BEFSX41) and noticed that all but these lights were off.

From top to bottom these three lights are labeled as:

Diag-which was a solid red
DMZ-green
Power-was also green

Resetting the router or cable modem had no effect, and I was unable to even reach the router setup(192.168.1.1). None of my room mates had any sort of connection either.

I've been searching for fixes on the Linksys forums and none of the symptoms others have reported seem to match mine.

I've downloaded the latest firmware, which is a .bin file, and wouldn't know how install it even if I were somehow connected to the router.

Lastly, the router is actually making a faint humming/buzzing sound that I either never noticed before or is new. This humming/buzzing leads me to believe that the router is just shot, but before I go and drop another ~$40 does anyone have any suggestions?thanks

If it's humming toss it.
That's a transformer vibrating - IE the ps is going.

I do wanna suggest you get the new BEFSR41 Cable/DSL Router if you are staying with Linksys, its a version 4... If you check your busted one, on the bottom by the model number you will see the version and I think your old one is a version 2...
