New account, what should i play

Just sold my 70 UD lock account for $600.00 My guild broke up and didn't want to start over with any other guilds on my server adn didn't want to start the search for another server.


I'm thinking about taking my profits and buying a new account and leveling an ally to play with some friends from work. In that case what class? I'm not going ot be as hardcore as I was with my lock, but am leaning towards a melee class for the variety.

Warriors are kinda fun if you can get decent gear.

Having already done the level grind pick a class on the following criteria (imo):l
!) What you want to play. Always had a class you wanted to paly? Choose that
2) What you want to be good at, while all classes can be useful in arenas some require much better gear, and most require certain specs.
3) What you want to do, want to DPS? dont pick pally, etc.
4) What your friends need. If you really cant choose and are not fussed just find out what class they could do with 1 more and play that, or pick one that compliments their choices.

warrior would give you lots of options over time, too... for pve and pvp

hunter,mage,rogue.warrior , druid (if you have the patients)

i'll sell you my priest and rogue (both alliance and xferrable - pvp) for 500 :P

You'd probably enjoy a rogue, but warriors have more versatility. Just depends on your playstyle. Ever play diablo 2? Warriors are kind of like barbarians (but a little less badass) and assassins are like rogues. Except no traps.

warrior or pally, fuck rogues for main char...
