Other than questing/grinding. I know some of you have some good ways to make 100g+/hr, time to share em :) Thanks.

The only thing I know of that isn't grinding or questing to get gold is playing the auction house.

If you're smart and have funds to start, you can make a lot on the AH. Apart from that, farming motes is one of the most profitable things.

K, I guess i'm somewhat of a newb at WoW talk. But Motes? The only motes that come to mind are the Motes of earth, water, etc. that drop in BC. Correct?

Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Life, Shadow and Mana. You make 10 into one primal, blacksmith or miner (can't remember which) can sunder a primal into 10 motes. Alchemists transmute Primal Might using Primal Fire, Wind, Water, Earth and Life I think (pretty sure, not 100%). Nearly all primals are used in all crafting, sometimes in massive amounts. Motes individually are used in some crafting, usually alchemy if memory serves. Much like Breath/Heart/Core/Globe and Essences, Primals and Motes are now the top crafting material.

I have made some money on AH buying motes, making them into Primals and selling them that way. I never got hardcore into it, but on the whole I turned a profit factoring in price of the motes versus the price of the primal sold.

I'm sure given that you can figure out who drops what and where, and find your realm's current prices on them.

First dload auctioneer if you havent already.

Make an alt, send everything you want to sell to the alt and run all auctions from there. Set a limit for how much gold you want your main to carry and send the rest to the AH alt to keep.

This is the same concept as keeping your money in a separate bank account. Out of sight out of mind.

You will be surprised at how fast your gold will grow.

There is a mod called postal that makes sending mail extremely easy.

Netherbloom is profitable. I saved up enough from herbs/alchemy to get my epic and working on my first flying mount. Good tips GreeD!

Ultra-Spectropic Detection Goggles - Items - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23762#c0z)

By the looks of it, not much.

I'm sorry. Anyway. That thing is a joke. There's only like 3 kinds of motes you can get from the clouds and they aren't even the good ones. All I've ever gotten was shadow and that was on the rare occation I actually ever even saw a cloud (and I ALWAYS equip them unmounted while in the zone)

If you have an epic flying mount, mining in Blade's Edge is huge profit. I borrowed the money for my epic flyer and paid it back in four days just mining a few hours a day.

It's gone down a bit in craziness but it's still extremely profitable and a great source of gems if you have a prospector you can send it all to. PVP server = star of elunes sell for an exhorbitant amount of money.

Eng has always been kinda useless...

That said. I'm a hunter with eng. I would have gone something else if I knew someone else that was a eng and could make guns/ammo for me.

As I remember, making your own ammo isn't feasible. I talk to a few hunters who Engineer and they all say the same thing. You simply eat through too much ammo, in order to come close to maintaining your supply you'd have to use up everything you mine while playing. And then you wouldn't have that extra ore/bars/stone to sell in AH.
