RAM discrepancies

On my performance page of my control panel, it states that I only have 1.5 gigs of ram. It used to display that I had a correct amount of 2.0. Running PC Wizard and CPUZ, they show that I still have 2.0 gigs. Why would windows all of a sudden show a lower amount? Is this something I should be worried about?

Specs? Number and exact type of RAM sticks in particular.

Here's what CPUZ tells me.

memory doesn't show up I think because it's some off the wall stuff bought from Comp USA or Best Buy.

Could be shitty RAM, yes. What brand is it?

On a side note, you're mixing 3-3-3-8 with 3-4-4-8, which is not really optimal. As a matter of fact, having anything other than matched sticks (or several of the exact same model) could decrease performance. I say you sell all 4 sticks and buy a 2x1 gig set.
