Even before TBC started up you could fish for Water Essences, they made water pools in Azshara where you could fish them but for those at the time you needed a minimum of 310 to have a chance of bagging them.

golden fish sticks (+44 healing +20 spirit)
spicy crawdad (+30 stam and +20 spirit)
POACHED BLUEFISH (+23 spell dmg +20 spirit)

these are why so many die-hards have 375 fishing

I think you need 425 fishing or so. But even at 475 it's kinda rough. 500+ is best, apparently.

On my server, i kid you not, that shit is VERY competitive. 24/7 you will see people lookin for those pools.
