[Desperate]IE takes forever to begin/initialize

A few weeks ago, around the time of the early clock-moving-forward, IE had some weird behaviors:

Symptoms:
I'd click the IE shortcut and google, my homepage, would start up. I'd see the cursor flash once or twice on the search bar, then it'd disappear. IE would freeze for 1-2 minutes, it'd almost seem like a graphical freeze. After an amount of time, it'd be good to go and never freeze again, no matter what site or what I did.

This always happened with any new IE window, either clicking the shortcut to my homepage, or a link on a page.

I eventually just formatted my computer and that (of course) solved the problem.

Now, today, I noticed the same thing. This monday would have been the traditional time-forward (I think) cause my computer already tried to do it. Well, what do I notice last night? Same thing starts happening, might have started doing it monday too, not sure.

I download a cracked IE7 from pirate bay, and install it (it has 100's of downloads, so its not bugged). Same thing fucking happens, complete freeze for 1-2min. Even if I try to open up a link in a new tab, that tab freezes for the same problem.

I havent patched or anything for the time change, not sure if that's the problem.

I have a cracked SP2, havent had any problems with it.

The IE7 has 3 hotfixes packaged with it, I've used those.

My clock is the current time, EST.

Got latest directx 9.0c. Have had this and my new gfx card since december, its a 1650 and works like a charm. I did install BF2142 around both those times (I think), but this was a few days prior to both these incidents (at least the present case)

No major software installs around either time (besides 2142).

HELP! This is bothersome beyond annoying.

Just read an article on CTFMON.exe, a compeltely shitacular MSWord .exe that can have SEVERE system performance effects, including--I think--the problems Im having.

Go to run/msconfig/startup and see if its checked. Was for mine, and I didnt notice it when I reinstaleld windows a few days ago. This little nigger could be the culprit.

It apparenlty forces your system to 'lose focus' on the active window. I've been noticing stuttering when playing bf2142 on my farily beefy system, so this, with the IE problem, is starting to speak to me.

Try to destroy this fucker with me.

Frequently asked questions about Ctfmon.exe (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282599/en-us)

A windows article on removing this GAY fucking proggie.
