20 Gig PS3 Discontinued

It is virtually impossible to find the 20 gig version of the PS3 anymore. While 60's are sitting there gathering dust. I can understand why, as who in their right might would buy the castrated box (or the 360 castrated version for that matter). But it really shows that it was a bad marketing choice by Sony to cancel it so soon after launch in some areas, and before launch in Europe and Australia.

I would've bought the 20 gig and used the extra 100 to buy a 300gig harddrive. :shrug:

the hdd is a laptop hdd, you can connect an external sata drive via usb though

i'm curious to see if sony will re-release the 20 as a cheaper model to directly compete with the wii

dunno why everyone rags on houston about ps3 - and the ps3 in general

until you've owned one, i'd shut up - because the thing is damn sexy (not just aesthetically either) and come a year from now will be tied if not leading the gamer market (depending on if they go anywhere with the online thing or keep it mediocre like the ps2 online was)

believe it or not, there is such a thing as respecting, liking, and even owning EVERY console - each one has it's great factors and each one has negatives

Does that mean my 20 gig is a collector's item now?
