Taking the influence of the Nintendo DS to its logical extreme, the recently announced PC uses two 15-inch touchscreens both for visuals and for control: owners tap the screen with their fingers or a stylus, using a virutal keyboard for text. The displays work in either portrait or landscape modes as with a desktop, the company says. Estari has also ruggedized the notebook, treating it as a briefcase with a hardened metal shell and a handle.

You realise this forum is for the front page of TW's news posts as the comments section. I don't think many people truly understand why this News forum is here.

I considered starting a thread about this, but figured people would bitch since it was on the front page, its a badass little labtop. 4600 is modest for the concept/specs.

Touchscreens look cool and star-trek-ish. It's true. There's a definite style associated with such a flat and futuristic look. The problem is, like videogames whose lifelike scenes require massive processing power, that there is great usefulness lost through the small increase in style. Just as competitive players reduce the quality to gain more utility, so too heavy users of this device will yearn for tactile feedback when typing.
