What's the name of the addon that places a timer/casting bar countdown for knowing when a stun is about to expire? Someone posted it or a screenshot with one in it if memory serves.

Linky? d0ggy 02-19-2007, 03:59 PM CCWatch, just gotta delete everything down to rogue only abilities to make it less alarmish on CC stuff from other people. GeneralHell 02-19-2007, 04:00 PM Thank you! Joemomma5000 02-19-2007, 07:51 PM I find Natur's Enemy Cast bar more sexy. I just turn off buffs and HoTs and shit from other ppl. triple 02-20-2007, 06:39 AM its so easy to stunlock with that ambush, gouge, wait, backstab, kidney shot, backstab x2 (sometimes), evisc, repeat Nail Bomb 02-20-2007, 07:08 AM its so easy to stunlock with that ambush, gouge, wait, backstab, kidney shot, backstab x2 (sometimes), evisc, repeat lol you use ambush to open? cheapshot backstab. gouge. run away resealth cheapshot... do white damage and wait out the duration... kidney shot back stab 2 times (toss in a expose armor for priests locks and mages) (watch energy tick there is no sometimes about it) kick the cast if necessary (fear, flash heal) then evis should do it for most so-so to average geared casters. ambush is a horrid opener. with the HP in BC is laughable. DeadlyRabbit 02-20-2007, 09:15 AM I find Natur's Enemy Cast bar more sexy. I just turn off buffs and HoTs and shit from other ppl. I was gonig to suggest this one, I use it to track sheep times on my mage, and renew on my priest. It is great for keepnig track of enemy casting too. Surge 02-20-2007, 03:27 PM stunwatch doesn't work anymore? Error|550 02-20-2007, 05:32 PM stunwatch doesn't work anymore? I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do to my UI. All the stuff I used for-freaking-ever prior to TBC is borked now so I have to start over ... :( GeneralHell 02-20-2007, 05:59 PM I tried both. They pretty much have the same functionality (as far as rogues go) so both are nice and work with TBC. Natur is sexier though! :D HaPpY 02-20-2007, 06:13 PM i just backstab backstab backoff for energy while theyre poisoned/dazed backstab backstab repeat if theyre not dead yet perhaps the occasional gouge if they wont bend over stun locking is usually just a waste of time imo, esp if it involves wasting cooldowns. Eve 02-20-2007, 06:30 PM CCW and Natur are both good choices. It just depends on what you like. Try em both. GeneralHell 02-20-2007, 07:34 PM Been using muti a lot lately... Cheap shot, muti (with talents this usually gives 5 points already), KS, muti, muti (another 5pts usually), evis or backstab depending on how much energy I have and how close to death they are. Of course that usually changes against good opponents. TeckMan 02-20-2007, 07:42 PM I find Natur's Enemy Cast bar more sexy. I just turn off buffs and HoTs and shit from other ppl. necb is a fucking fantastic mod. Just wish there was some way to make the hostile casts of my target bigger, without making everything else bigger. HaPpY 02-20-2007, 08:43 PM what does more damage (ignoring crits)... backstab or muti? and by how much? and can you muti if your offhand is not a dagger? GeneralHell 02-20-2007, 09:49 PM Both weapons must be daggers. And the damage (from what I've seen) is pretty meh for muti if your target is not poisoned. If they are then muti does more I think. (+50% more dmg to poisoned targets i think) What I've noticed is that backstab looks like more solid damage and that muti kinda fluctuates a lot on me. That may have to do with other factors though. Either way, muti = 2 combo points or 3 with talents on a crit while BS is one or two on a crit though BS crits more i think. I'm no expert. m00g00 02-20-2007, 09:57 PM hey. rogues are the most chicken shit class in the game. thanks. PessimiStick 02-21-2007, 09:28 AM what does more damage (ignoring crits)... backstab or muti? and by how much? and can you muti if your offhand is not a dagger? Mut pretty much destroys backstab on anything poisonable. Haven't been Mut at 70, but it was *broken* good at 60. HaPpY 02-21-2007, 04:44 PM i figure muti can be further improved if you get the +50% dmg bonus to offhand (making offhand same as mainhand). however to get the most benefit you'd have to equip two slow (high dmg) daggers which would reduce your chance to apply poison. the only thing thats keeping me on the backstab side of the fence is that it probably still does more damage overall mainly because of improved backstab. assuming your regular crit is 20, it comes down to 50 crit (55 with dagger spec) with bs vs 20 crit with muti + extra combo point. and of course muti requires dedication to assassination. Edit: DW spec only brings your OH up to 75% FYI. | ||
