I guess it started with someone asking which was better for a lvl 19 twink mage, a [Emberstone Staff (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5201) or a Twisted Chanter's Staff (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=890). I explained (as did other people) that the Chanter was better due to more int, especially when the staff already has a +3 int enchant on it.
After calling him on learning how to level a main before fretting over a twink (since you usually need a sizeable amount of money to twink, that or a gullible friend with deep pockets) he responded with having a lvl 65 warrior with 3 levels of Rested. After saying the rested caps at 30 bubbles (1.5 levels) he asked if they changed it. I had to respond that it was always 1.5 levels, and it would make little sense to up the cap. I mean why up the rested XP cap from 1.5 levels when they intentionally doubled the 60 - 70 XP requirements? Would seem counter-productive.
Got to the point this guy was paying me gold to pretty much simply look stuff up on WoWHead and feed him proper items for a lvl 19 twink mage. I mainly gave him BoEs since I doubted he would be willing to pay for dungeon runs for some of the BoPs.
And I'm pretty sure after this someone will say they did, in fact, raise the rested cap so I look like an idiot. But if I was so worried about that would you think I'd still be here?
