Reputation - Draenei

I thought this was a little odd. I was working on my Draenei shaman, and got done all of Azuremyst and Bloodmyst quests. I was three quests short of full completion and just sly of lvl 21 and I get a green ding. I check my rep page and I find I'm Honored with everyone and Revered with Exodar.

Is that a tad fast for a lvl 20 - 21 to have that much rep across the board?

Yeah I did that but this is all city rep. Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Gnomeregan AND Exodar. Why would I be honored with them if I haven't even done any quests with them?

I do have a lvl 18 BE, Tranquillen rep is almost why bother working on it.

Since patch 2.01, it is possible to reach Exalted with some factions simply by completing every available quest in quest hubs associated with those factions. Most quests for an Alliance or Horde faction will give 250 reputation for that faction and 62.5 for the rest of the Alliance or Horde.

Jesus, you serious? That's just gaytarded. I mean I don't like the whole grind for rep, but now it just seems like you don't really have to try to rep up. If I hit Exalted with Exodar before I hit my Wind Quest I'll just stay there simply for the 20% off everything.

I meant 9000 from Friendly (which you start at as Dranei) to Revered.

Neutral to Friendly is 3000, Friendly to Honored is 3000, Honored to Revered is 6000 and Revered to Exalted is 12000. Then you have some "exalted and a half) which is 9999 or something into Exalted. Pretty sure that's it unless they changed something else up.

And from Friendly backwards it's the same scheme.

there was a bliz response about city rep. basically they feel it's no longer end game worthy and want you to focus on outlands/expansion stuff so they buffed the grind. The CR posted cross factions mounts just weren't that big a deal anymore.
