Doesn't the tooltip say it's a 5% chance?

And polearm/axe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> mace

If you're the warrior using mace spec, never. If you're on the receiving end, ALWAYS.

Mace spec is really fucking random and inconsistent but it has the chance to wildly fuck up an opponent's plan.

Poleaxe = Axes and Polearms, seems like a no brainer. I did Mace for a while a year or so back, and yeah the proc is retardedly random. By the time it happens you really don't need it and when you do need it to happen it never does.

no. Just says Rank 1, 2, 3, etc

Just wondering if any one has a ballpark figure on procc rate, the rage generation and the stun is quite sick, esp when using a mace with a stun procc on it already

 it used to be 5%.

I've heard 1 point = 1 ppm... no idea if that's accurate or not as I've never been mace spec.

if you pick mace over poleaxe without a damn good reason you're on something.

I am mace spec w/deathwish using Thottbot World of Warcraft: Thunder (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=54275)

I've broken 3k MSes on cloth a few times already and ironically almost all those times they were also owned by a mace stun proc. :D

Nah kurt, but the kicker is...the tier 1 version of these weapons puts them fairly on par with even the arena weapons (at least the mace imo) and the tier 2 / tier 3 versions are simply kick ass.

I mean, if you spend the time, bit by bit daily you can get 350 BS to craft one, I did 0-350 in like.... 3-5 days? (while raiding at night)

0-275 isnt too bad, but 275-300 sucks my left nut when it comes to the amount of thorium you need to mine or buy. 300-350 was a cakewalk for me, but thats because I already have my epic flying mount and I could mine fel iron and adamantite like a champ.

If you decide to do blacksmithing, look up some guides on google and the profession forums and just plan ahead with the mining and stockpiling of ore and recipes you will need, then just start crafting like a mad man.

On a side note, I think its very worth it - I have utterly bitch slapped people who thought they had me dead with me sitting at 10% health with a full rage bar and them at 100% health - I killed a shadow priest this way earlier today with triple heroic, ms and whirlwind crits and he dropped right before i died from the shadow word: pain.

I'm prot spec now but I fell in love with my Lionheart and PvP. I hit like a truck and when sword spec proc'd I utterly DESTROYED whoever I was fighting.

It was fantastic.

Don't you just love that? On my warrior I was going Prot until lvl 35 (this was way early, probably 1.3 or 1.4) and then I said fuck it and re-specced to Arms/MS. After that it was like a whole new class. You go from so little damage and sitting there wahcking at mobs to plowing through them in less than 20 seconds.

yea, i fought an ne war w/lionheart in eots one on one and he pretty much raped my face. his ms and white hits were almost 2x mine. my experience was the exact opposite of yours.

if i was able to do things hardcore, i would probably go bs, but i just have too much other shit going on (moving, new job in 3 weeks, kid on the way). whats the point if i cant be hardcore? right?

Well... my shadow priest is almost 70 and my hunter will be next, so I've got the farming mats, etc. classes to support a prot warrior... but man do I miss smashing faces :(

you can still do it casually, would just take longer. think of it this way, that weapon would last you a good long time, better then any blue youd be able to get, and its something you can achieve at your own pace without anybody's help but your own if needed.

i think you could get it done even in like... 1,2 maybe 3 weeks? i can give you any tips you'd need on speeding the process up.

hell, half of my gear replacements came from the 2-5 man outdoor group quests in nagrand, netherstorm and shadowmoon valley, get those and work on your blacksmithing and at least your non epic flying mount and you have a lot more fun in the game.

Also, the upgrade to your sword is doable through the 5-mans, non-heroic.

I've got most of the Primal Nethers I need to upgrade to Tier 2 now, and I haven't gotten a single one from a heroic.

Well worth the work, if you ask me.

aight, pretty much decided to go for it. time to hunt down some 0-300+ bs guides. any tips would be greatly appreciated. how much gold should i be willing to drop on this venture? and should i try to do it w/out picking up mining?
