Can anyone tell me how the damage (i.e. 533 - 650) on my character screen is calculated? I took off a weapon that only had 20 more top end damage than the weapon I replaced it with, but the 'damage' on my character screen shows a reduction of 52.

Every 14 attack power equals 1 DPS. DPS is multiplied by weapon speed to get the bonus damage added per swing.

For example, let's say you have 1400 attack power and a 3.6 speed weapon.

1400 AP / 14 = 100 DPS from attack power. 100 DPS * 3.6 speed = 360 damage per swing being added by your attack power.

Let's say your 3.6 speed weapon has a damage range of 50-100. Your character screen damage will now be (50+360) to (100+360), or 410-460. Lastly, any percentage modifiers you have (two-handed weapon specialization, etc.) are then calculated with those numbers.
