The zoom distance is capped at 50 for addons and such, and the default is like 25 or 30 (how far you can zoom out).
Install this for zoom to 50 by default World of Warcraft Addons: ImprovedCamera 2 | World of Warcraft @ Curse (http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/5098/improvedcamera-2/)
After you install that addon, go to Interface Options and notice the "Max Camera Distance" and a lot wider now (jack it up). :)

And if you want MORE MORE MORE... you can get around the hardcoded zoom limit by changing the settings on the "camera" options. Go to your config.wtf and add this.
SET cameraDistanceA "50"
SET cameraDistanceB "75"
SET cameraDistanceC "100"
SET cameraDistanceD "250"
Then... go to your keybinds in wow and play around with the "change viewpoint" binds. Make sure you update that config file while completely closed out of wow.

Been using it for a while, as a warrior I find its really nice for fights like Ragnaros and other huge bosses. I can actually see how I'm hitting coming off the top of their head if I zoom out far enough

Get SCT Damage and set up a profile. No more problems!

Is there any way to jack up the distance nameplates show up at?
Because being able to see nameplate farther would be useful for both PvP and raid healing.

my friends and i were out grinding last night. i heard horde so i popped my key bind to zoom out. sure enough there were 3 horde grinding up the hill from us.
they were clear up a hill from us i could tell the race. then click on them for the class and level and such. my friends didn't pay much attention and sure enough they came running down the hill. I was ready so they thought they were going to get the drop on us.
i play on a pvp server and it saved my ass 3 times in less then 24 hours of installing it. my gf prefers to run rather then fight so i gave it to hear and she can keep far away from horde. i can see this mod being a HUGE advantage for world pvp. i am just going to abuse it and enjoy it while i can and blizz takes it away. thanks again for the info.
