Leveling quickly for alliance....[hot pic]

I've been following an alliance guide but it seems geared towards hunters. Is there a website with GOOD guides anywhere?

Really didn't think levelling as a hunter was that difficult after getting to 46 on Alliance and 60 on Horde. You spec BM mainly to beef up your pet as a tank, maybe a bit in Marks to up your DPS. And just do quests that involve killing things, usually that's about 80% of all total quests roughly.

How easy that would be depends on PvE or PvP server. PvP you'll have to also content with gankers, PvE your only potential problem would be other people in the area. Even then you can usually get the first tag with auto-shot, most other classes need time to work even default attack and the ones with an instant shot usually require you to be a lot closer to a mob than you'd even need to be.

I'm NOT a hunter. The guide sends me on quests that a hunter with a good tank pet can complete but are harder for mages. I don't like wasting my time working on the wrong quests.

Only one I know is Johana's and that's hunter AND Horde. You may get some better tips on how to be a better mage though, I played one to 40ish and I never had a problem doing kill count quests, etc. The only pain was the constant drinking for 30 secs after OOM'ing after 3 - 4 fights.

why the hell would i regret it?

i leveled my warlock from 60-70 fairly quick (i think second 70 lock on server?). i'm leveling my hunter right now. hunters are fairly easymode, but honestly, my lock just tore thru everything. seriously, pve with felguard is so ridiculous. i could solo 3-man quests without difficulty. i mean, when you consider the fact that my health funnel heals my pet for like 400hp/s, and felguard has like 5.5k life, it's no prob to throw up a couple dots and then let pet tank the boss for a few mins. i can't imagine an easier char to level with.

why the hell would i regret it?

because you will be fucking basically skipping the whole game? level your first character yourself to get a good feel for the game or you will a) miss out on all the fun involved in actually playing this game or b) you will hit 60/70 fast enough but be such a clueless chob as to how to play your class and the game in general because you spent your whole play time alt tabbing between the game and the guide

I actually recently purchased a 60 rogue from some guy on ebay that was sellin for a good price. Got him up to 66, but its been hectic with RL birthdays the last few weekends. Im transferin to illidan on the 20th and im hopin to be 70. Well i can actually guarentee ill be 70 when i transfer.

Id love to be able to join Serenity Now again. I wouldnt even need to raid with you guys, try to work something up for me. Much love =P
