Been using bongos, but today it Fucked up and now I cant get it to work with stance switches, even after deleting all the shit (including WTF etc)..

So any recommendations on any bar mods, need like 4 rows of buttons for consumables gear etc

thanks :D:sex:

I still use Bongos, works fine for me. I just started using it, though, so I can't really offer any insight into what your difficulties might be.

That stance shit is fucking invaluable, though -- really helps streamline one's binds.

bartender3

I had similar issues with bongos involving binding keys to shift F etc and having one key permabound to shift F and not being able to remove the binding and having key assignments stop working randomly and having to relog / reload ui. Bartender3 works good, little more difficult to set up but nothing major.

Bongos is kind of a pain to set up at first, particularly making sure all your stance events are properly aligned, but believe me, the half-hour to 45 minutes it takes to set up is FAR outweighed by the benefits. I only started using Bongos like 2 weeks ago and I am astounded to think of how I could have played without it before. Things really are ASTOUNDINGLY fluid where before I had to waste precious half-seconds remembering what everything was bound to (and cluttering my screen with unnecessary buttons).

It does take some getting used to, but eventually it becomes like a second skin. Trust me, it is REALLY worth the awkwardness getting started. So nice to be able to do Defensive Stance/Taunt on the same button and not worry about flubbing the button-drumming while flinging your fingers every which way around the WASD core.

when i did use bar mods, it was bongos - i used that shit before it was fotm

but i'm back to default blizz bars because having to panic and scramble on patch days that fuck up entire mods isn't fun and i'd rather not have to worry about it

does bartender 3 allow complete mobility and customization?

None.

I use lots of mods, but i prefer just havin the artwork removed and then scaling the shit way down. I prefer the simple 4 bars on the bottom and then 2 long bars on the side.

does bartender 3 allow complete mobility and customization?

Yes. That's what I use now (I used to use Insomniax) and I absolutely love it.

i just use coolDown and have all my skills bound to keys; i put a few things like firstaid/tradeskills/what have you on the blizz sidebar for convenience
