HudBot fans there is a new version

Hey I noticed the file tribesprojectv2_full.rar hosted at
that other tribesonline site has what appears to be a new
version of hudbot imbedded in it.

The version you can get from Andrew's site is still 4.2 but
you can get a sneak peak by lifting out the hook.dll from
that rar file.

The graphics looks better and for those running opengl you
might notice that you can see the weather effects now.

It's not a new version of HB. It's just new base textures, sky textures, ground textues etc. HudBot will be HudBot. The only thing changing is what others do to improve the visuals. Any one can change the look of tribes if they know what they are doing.

wow that video looks fucking stupid, looks like a cartoon game, why change everything in the game aesthetically speaking to make it look dumb?

NoFiX is just jealous. My skins are beautiful and I wet myself when I turn on Tribes. Hah. Anyway. I don't make the skins I just find them elsewhere. Mostly from ss2845. It's a goldmine of textures. Here are a couple more I have done. I couldn't stand the troc project terrains. Again, not great but it's a start.

Those are horrendous. I've got software textures that look nicer than those.

In other words you textures are like Michael Jackson and Doom Textures are like Kate Beckinsale.


I could not and would not EVER load up or play Tribes if it looked that Bad. There is no Detail in any of them textures..If i get a chance i'll try to come up with something that looks playable and not eatable..

I'll remove the screenshots when someone posts better ones. You have been warned. I have more. :hurry: I am actually working on a black and white dairy cow texture atm. I'll post it when I finish. You guys will love it.

Want some cool textures...download the Torque Shader Demo and Go into the Files and use some of them textures for Ground and Buildings..

Make the game look better than what it did not like a POS that no one wants to even look at..
