night time sudafed or robotussin usually works for me. combine that with a nasal spray and come ibuprofin and I'm set for a nice comfortable sleep.

go to bed laughing.
TheraFlu will make you feel nice and warm and then knock you out, and when you wake you will feel much better.

2 percocet, and a big gulp of NyQuil....You wont have time to think about a runny nose. Thats my cure for everything.

alka seltzer flu changed there **** a year or so ago
it has sucked since

Thera-Flu powder is the ****. I am usually cured of any sickness within 24 hours of doing regular doses of that stuff.

Looks like Thra-Flu is winning out.
And of course I want the Percs or the Tabs or the codines. But thats not an option. :(

Benadryl (http://www.pfizerch.com/product.aspx?id=247) + Delsym (http://www.delsym.com/)
If all you have is runny nose + cough, that is your best bet for a good nights sleep. Benadry will dry you up and knock you out (it's the active ingredient in most OTC sleep aids) and delsym will stop the cough for 12 hours unlike niquil which only helps for about 6. Dunno about you, but when I'm sick I prefer to sleep for more than 6 hours at a time.
Theraflu is good because it's soothing to drink warm liquid when you don't feel good but you can get the same soothing from a nice cup o tea. Chamomile (http://www.celestialseasonings.c om/products/herbal-teas/chamomile.html) or echinacea (http://www.celestialseasonings.c om/products/wellness-teas/echinacea-complete-care.html) are my prefered teas.

The only problem I have with benadryl is that the sleep it gives me is pure ****. It's like Im almost asleep and wake up every 5 mins for just a few secs. Same for most things like nyquil and tylenol cold. I kinda need a different kind of sleep aid which I dont think are legal. I do remember some natural sedative my buddy got at a GNC that really put me into a good sleep. But i cant remember the name.

well, if thats the case with sleepaids, I'd say get some claritin (for the runny nose but doesn't cause drowsiness) and look for other things to help you sleep. back to the tea again but Sleepytime (http://www.celestialseasonings.c om/products/herbal-teas/sleepytime.html) works well for me.
Melatonin (http://www.melatonin.com/) is a natural chemical that your body produces during sleep. Taking it as a suppliment before bed can help your brain know that it's time to rest and make sleep easier.
If you are into the whole herbal stuff then try some Valerian (http://www.1001herbs.com/valerian/) I'm personnaly not into all the herbal stuff but it is popular, might be worth a shot if nothing else is working.

Valerian is it!!! That **** actually works like a charm.
