ads?

I haven't noticed any in-game ads yet...are they suppose to be on the battlefield? or in the menu screen?

In the game you'll see a bunch of billboards with things like ER, those are the place holders for where the ads will go, they haven't turned them on yet, I guess they want people to have the game a few days (so they can't return it) and then flip the switch.

Don't worry though, you'll be able to block them once they go live.

They label it Spyware which IGA and EA are having a tough time facing down.

I'm enjoying the drama this whole thing is creating.

havent seen any yet...supposedly i think they wanted to collect data first so the know when and where to put what adds

If you think DICE\EA will pass ANY saving on to the customer you're on crack. It's free money for them on top of what they've already made for the game. Nothing more.

Damn, now you tell me. I stood in front of a billboard for four hours yesterday thinking I was going to get a dividend check in the mail for doing my part.

They’re working on a patch, hopefully it won’t screw up more than it fixes. That’s payment enough considering how shitty after sales support is these days for computer games.
