BF2142: Beta, was anyone involved?

yup, and it was a buggy mess but the demo is expected to be out next week or so, everyone who wants to give it a look over can, or not.

I sort of doubt they’ll allow access to unlocks but you can play with the base guns which are somewhat better than their unlock counterparts anyway, except for the spec-ops side of recon as there’s no default carbine for that kit. Maybe someone will figure out a way to hack the unlocks like they did for the BF2 demo and have a “give all” server set up.

Use the 2nd one for Hi-Res... it wasnt obvious at first, but i saw the crappy quality one first. Looks pretty damn fun, cant wait till its released, already got my rsvp from bestbuy!

It's just a mod so it'll only be for unranked servers, still it would be fun for the small maps.

ps epik, for this topeka tourney, i think we're going out for some drinks afterwards, that electr1k noob says you guys aren't going, but i'd say something in the forums, you are just as good as any of us, and the rest of that tournament was trash ^_^

We lost one guy because he's going to be out of town (We had no idea on when the tourney was even going to be). I don't know that I want to drive all the way out to Wichita. A good hour drive if I speed my ass out there.

... I just read the forums, looks like I don't have a team to play with anyways. You guys may not even need to play a map to take home the prize.

PS. If any of you already have a 360, I'll gladly take it off your hands. I'm sure no one really WANTS to have one. :D

Ya I was in BF2142 beta, houston and I jumped on vent a bunch of times to play together, a lot of it was using vent to say "I am lagging out", "So am I, shit server is crashing lets find another."

I still sucked at it, but when I found my roll and picked up a few unlocks I started doing a lot better.
