Decent gaming rig for under $1000?

I have a case, an Antec 480W power supply, monitor, etc.

Basically looking for motherboard, cpu, ram, graphics card. Would like to keep the cpu AMD and the card an ATI.

I'm completely behind in technology, help a brotha out :(

$1073, but absolute top of the line. If you can't afford it, look for a cheaper mobo or RAM. Keep the vid card and the CPU in any case.

DFI's a quality mobo manufacturer now? Damn.... I am way out of it. Back in 1996 when I was working in a computer store, DFI was a no-name brand. Guess they've come a long way. :o
