People who shoot at tanks

and I don't mean with rockets.



I don't know what kind of strange thought process goes through people's heads, but when I see a tank, I usually try and run away, not fire my gun at it.

This thread brought on by going 60 - 6 on Mashtuur today.

95% of the people that do it are dumbasses, but there are a few who do it just to distract the tank enough so their buddies with AT can hit it when it's not looking.

I do it to lower my accuracy and to not be bored. I run around with my pistol out and shoot random things.

I like to pistol helicopters and jets.

I do it sometimes so people can either get a clear AT shot, C4 the tank or so a engi drop mines and run. I really don't care if I die, I will step out into a street and start firing with a pistol if needed so a teammate can take out the armor.

I don't shoot tanks with guns, but I do sometimes shoot helicopters. The pilots still see the red damage indicator, and in the heat of battle sometimes they don't notice that they aren't really taking any damage. Often times they will bug out for a bit, thinking that something bigger is shooting at them.

They usually figure it out pretty quick, but sometimes it can buy you a few seconds here or there.

i think the last time i was messig around it took 5000 PKM rounds to make a cobra or Mec helo smoke.
