So because I was having problems before I disassembled my computer, which included disconnecting the floppy drive. Now I've reconnected it and it appears to be working because it shows up in "My Computer". But everytime I try using it by putting in a floppy disk I get an error like there's no disk there. It says "Please insert a disk into drive A:." I've tried this with half a dozen floppies and I get the same result.
Did I not reconnect the drive properly? It seems like I did since Windows recognizes the drive. Is there connector to the mobo backwards maybe? Is the floppy drive defective? What could this be? Thanks.
