he has $313 behind on the turn... stack sizes seem awkward for any turn raise other than minimum, but a minimum raise might give away my hand... thoughts?

I agree with Mar. Maybe not raise quite so much, but still a raise. You don't want to give him a cheap draw to a diamond if he has the draw. With luck he even pushes after you raise him.
I wouldn't put him on a diamond draw after his raise on the turn. Why not take the free card to see if you hit it or not? I wouldn't put caco's check on the turn as fear of the 5 of clubs.

im not very worried about diamonds here. first of all, apparently hes a 2+2er, i didnt know it at the time but i'm 95% sure diamonds would have raised the flop. second of all, i dont give much weight to diamonds in situations like these, because people tend to give so much more action in blind v. blind confrontations that you almost always give up too much playing to cater specifically to a flush draw.
i'm not sure how i feel about the turn check. i checked turn here just because i had been firing a lot of second barrels and winning lots of pots so i thought a check was really good in the flow of the game. but in a vacuum i think i like leading better, for the most part... because to me a turn check-raise to 180 = a raise all-in, and i just hate the fact that hes able to bet 65 chips into this pot and force me to bet all 400 of mine. it just seems like thats giving him too much power. of course, this is a great flop to float so maybe a turn check is preferable
anyway i minraised and he folded. i never minraise really and i dont think i would have done it on a bluff so maybe i shoulda just made it like 180 or something...
Actually I would say he probably would've folded to a lead out. Chances are he had two overcards and thought you made mid/bottom pair and was hoping that your check implied you could be pushed off of them with 2 or 3 overcards on the board. I'd say your check was a good move as it got another big bet out of him.

I think I would call here, and hope the river hits one of his overs? If he has nothing, he folds to your miniraise, so you get no value. If you let him have a card here, maybe he backs into something and makes a mistake on the river.
Basically, if you don't fear diamonds, then you don't really fear any hand here and I would slow down and just call.
Without knowing his image of you, by calling the turn bet, he might put YOU on the flush draw(lead out on flop, check turn that misses and call) so if any non diamond hits river, when you lead out he sees that as a bluff.
If you're worried about the flush, raise to 180ish...otherwise smooth call and trap on river.
