I found myself killing mangy nightsabers and "protecting her" about an hour later.
What can i say?
I am simply amazing.
Is there any real way to get your wife/girlfriend/fuckbuddy to play video games with you or is it all chance? I tried to get her to give it a shot for like 6 months now... she thought it was nerdy.

I'm gunna go out on a limb and say it's all chance, I don't think you can really force the habit into them :(

WoW on the other hand, I said, "you're playing this for a month. If you dont' like it after that, you can quit." I made her a hunter, because women love the pets...

Agreed. I know two girls who both like FPS's (BF2 fans) but they can't sit and play an RPG. Hit or miss... even then you don't know what'll hit.

My girlfriend watched over my shoulder a couple times and wanted to try. She made a hunter since she liked mine (it's true, loves the pet), and now she's an active raiding member in my guild. She's reasonably geared, but I'm still far more decked out.
Funny part was back when I first started raiding, we downed Golemagg for the first time, GS BP dropped. Back then, our 'first kill rule' involved an open roll (furor system at the time). She won it. Had dinged 60 no more than 2 hours earlier and was wearing a level 54 'of the falcon' green. Hilarity ensued. Leader at the time - "Now hold up, link what you're upgrading from in raid chat, everybody's GOT to see this".
She'd been a gamer forever, but never got into MMOs, now she's hooked. Two 60s so far and a few more on the way.

my girlfriend and i use to play bf 2.. she was really into the medic. so i suggested she tried the preist so she could heal. she LEVELED with holy back in the 1.7 days. way before holy could do some dps.
she wont try any none healing classes. i play a rogue and she plays a preist. shes in 7 of 8 t1. with her benidiction.. so i would say she enjoys it. She was a gamer before i met her.. i use to watch her kick ass in starcraft.
