I really need 2,000 gold, but the prices on my server (Silverhand) are ridiculous, anyone know of any good sites?

In general, gold prices atm are retardedly high (I've seen 500g going for as much as $80). So please, if you find low prices, tell us :sunny:

Yeah, they track how much gold is being sent, and if it's a suspicious amount they spy on your chat logs. That's why I send it to a level 1 alt on a different account then send it to my main.

Are they banning players that buy gold now too?

Why wouldn't they? :p

Selling ingame currency for real cash is prohibited in almost every MMORPG. 1st. it fucks up game economy, 2nd. it's unfair for those who can't afford buying it 3rd. it's black money. Chinese monkeys are making living off it.

what about those people who have jobs and can't affort spending 8 hours grinding on mobs?

it's a two way street, i know i'd rather work an hour and buy a thousand gold rather then farm like a retard for hours upon hours

I would think as long as you're not buying gold monthly, you'd probably not get banned. The ones selling the gold are the ones that will be getting banned since they're the source of the problem in the first place.

I have noticed that some of the items that used to go for a WHOLE lot of money, now don't sell for that much.

Glowing Brightwood Staff - Used to be 1000g, now it's about 550-600g.
Pristine Hide of the Beast -Used to be about 1200g, now it's about 600g.

Same for some of the epic patterns that sold for a shitload (shifting cloak, hide of the wild pattern). Taking the gold out of the economy and the farmers out has helped to push the prices down in the AH. Not on the little stuff (ESsence of water, Rugged Hide, etc etc) but on the big epic/rare items that used to sell for rediculous amounts, now sell for reasonable prices.

I think that is due more to the fact that almost everyone has access to far better epics now.

As you pointed out, gold farming makes prices go up, not down.

I was talking in developer terms. But mostly it's because they don't want other people making black money out of their product (law stuff)
