in 1 scholo run i got some bone golem shoulders and an ancient bone bow :D

i also got 4 skin of shadows. i only need 1 more skin of shadow and i can make LEGGUARDS OF THE CHROMATIC FUCKING DEFIER

I've been trying for Breastplate of Chromatic since jan. Saw the carapace drop 3 times but 2x passed to a warrior (I'm a paly) and 1 time got out rolled by a hunter :(

I have my ZG BP now and soon I'll have Avengers but I'm still going to finish this quest on principle. Might have to jump in some pugs and ninja it!

The best is when you save up DKP and 2 or 3 of you set pieces drop. Sucking up a ton of pieces all at once is funny! We call those people loot hoovers (think vacuum cleaner)! Every now and then someone will go on a streak and hoover up a bunch of items.

we have a paladin that's been waiting on vael to drop RDP for 11 weeks straight. Last week's kill we got Helm of Endless Rage so that was ok. The 4 weeks before we got the druid trinket. Vael is a bastard.

:rofl: none of our paladins would take HOER. that's fury warrior only pretty much. I think our MS warrior got it because both the furies had theirs. I don't think any of our paladins would take it even if it was a free downgrade.

I've killed Fankriss every week since gates opened on my server (except 2 while guild died/I transferred), and I've *never* seen that drop.

Yup, I've never seen it drop either.

If its a 3% drop (tbot/allahk) then once in 33 times average would it drop.

We've killed him 7 times i believe. so in 6 months I might have a better gripe.

2 Barbed Chokers, a Barb of the Sandreaver, but no aqr yet.
I think I'm next in line for that or the CTS (rocking a VK and Mala atm)

Edit: We've always had terrible luck with 2H drops. We've seen like a total of five off Rag, four Untamed, one Ashkandi, one Kalimdor's Revenge, and zero Dark Edges. I was blown away when Severance dropped.

ZERO Red Dragonscale Protectors (but atleast we have one ouro shield)

Enough Netherwind for 9 i think 8/8 mages and enough Taut Nexushide to equip all of Orgrimmar.

Naxx has been shitty for us as well, 2/3 of the bosses keep dropping trash frost resist gear that nobody wants (yet).

lol i realized i dont have the quest to get the legguards of chromatic defier. im gonna have to go to ubrs and get the bloody quest from the blue dragon before i can get them :D

and btw i wouldn't take the carapace over a warrior/pally. the breastplate is more useful than the legguards. however no one wanted it so i went ahead and rolled :)

The other week we had an X-bow of smiting drop, it went to a PVE hunter (who had his previous account banned for leaking info) and then he got a huhuran's stinger the next day. >< The only sad thing is it would've been defaulted to my alt otherwise.. hehe. But, I'm not one to whine - I really like the hunter who got the bow since he's really nice and helpful.

I don't think I've ever really had as much luck as buize, though! Right now I'm just on vacation and letting dren drag my hunter through BWL/MC for the next few weeks ;)
