fan on my am2 x2 4600 sounds (sounds like, but isnt nearly as loud as) - like a baseball card being stuck in the spokes of a bicycle or something.

what the hell?

i checked and no, there arent any wires hitting it. but this is annoying =/

edit: ok after a restart and a quick wire check it mysteriously went away

nevermind

Take some canned air and blast it a few times... If it still makes noise after all that, I would recommend replacing it before It seizes and makes matters worse.

Sorry, didn't read your edit...

"... after a restart and a quick wire check it mysteriously went away"

This Chinese guy did an experiment, he removed most of the legs from a grasshopper, put the insect on a table, then slammed the table to startle the grasshopper into jumping. Well the grasshopper didn't move. His conclusion?

"When grasshopper loses legs it goes deaf".

Yea restarts are known to mysteriously move wires.

Thanks for your latest example of Jethro style idiocy. PLEASE DON'T BREED.
