App wait time.

How long is a fair app wait time? i got major lucky in my first guild and was just started to collect dkp.. they they allowed me get things.. i think it was 3 weeks.

I am in a new guild and i have no idea how long a fair app time is. How long did some of you guys have to wait?

give it a week and follow up / talk to some guild leaders or officers in game then if nothing develops id move on to apping to some other guilds.

guilds with dkp i started collecting points right away and picking up stuff none of the other members wanted. going from trial > member can take ahwile, maybe 3 weeks depending on how serious the guild is, and how much effort you put into your "extended app"

For our guild, you can stay a trial recruit for a month+ depending on how much you raid and how well you play. You get dkp right away but are not allowed to bid on anything against anybody besides other trial recruits. We also have a friend of guild rank that is allowed to raid if we need their class. They dont get dkp but if nobody needs an item they get it for free. A pali actually get wormscale blocker (think that is the shield from vael) plus 3 other things one run.

In my guild:

DKP starts as soon as you join.
We try to shard nothing. If a member passes a probationary can pick it up. They pay full price. We use a zero sum system so this works out well.
Full membership usually takes a month. More or less depending on the person.

they said that app time was 2 weeks. this morning he told me what is holding up the apps up. Two warlocks applyed to the guild. a guy and a girlfriend, i guess the girl totally sucks, she didnt know what a healthstone was and she had no idea how to banish. The guy is a very good warlock and they were shot on locks rogues (yeah i was surprised too) and preists.

He told me that they are going to talk to the guy to i guess help his girlfriend not suck ass. At first this bugged me but i am just going to wait it out and save up my DKP. I want a perdition's blade super super bad. from the looks of it the drop rate is pretty good. I am in 6 of 8 night slayer so i think i am going to chill for a while collect dkp and work on my druid until i hit member status.. then bid my ass off on the perdition's blade.
