Is there anyway to find where coordinates are in relation to the WoW world?

like if I have:

2849.49 -3959.29

Where could I find out where that could be?

Titan panel (Add-on) shows coords, however the numbers you have provided as an example do not match WOW coords.

Re:Profiles?
Profiles, are used with "Glider"... Waypoint xml that runs off coords saved by the "Glider" application.

in english, profiles are 'routes' the glider takes along its path of free experience and loot.

for example, Tanaris Turtle profile would, well, hunt the turtles along the beach in tanaris, usually in some sort of loop sequence.

too many people are snitching on botters. another guild on our server had a known botter for basic items for the guild, and another classmate apparently reported him.

Why do people snitch on on bots?

Noble reason

"It goes against the EULA and TOS stated by Blizzard! It's my responsibility to report people who violate the rules for the betterment of all who play the game!"

Less-than-noble reason

"Why should that fucker get a free ride to 60 and crafting mats when I need to run around and work for it?!?"

AH worker reason

"They ruin the economy by doing that. I'm just protecting my investment on the Auction House."

Pvper reason

"Where are they? I want some free honor!"

Skilless pvper reason

"I want honor but I don't want to work for it."

Just a few of the potential reasons people will snitch on botters. I'm sure there's a plethora more.

your last two reasons are more along the lines of reasons to not report a glider ;p

Yeah I saw that after I posted but I didn't care to edit it. Point is there is a massive number of reasons for people to snitch/report botters so the argument is really not why you'd report a botter but more why you would not report a botter.

If the person is farming: target them and follow them for 2 minutes. If they dont log out then feel free to report.

If the person is just leveling: who cares? if you are bored, then target them and follow them for 2 minutes.

Most people who get glider get it cuz they dont have time anymore to level characters. It's fairly harmless and who cares. But if you see people botting to farm them that is a legit gripe and you may want to fuck with them. Yet even then, if it's not some commercial char but a real player in a real guild... then consider just fuckin them up instead of getting them banned.

What about doing it just to be a dick? Isn't that why most people play the game?

The main general reason is to be a prick, some people though prefer having specific reasons to be a prick. Or maybe they want a specific reason to distract them from the truth they are, in fact, being a prick and they want some kind of justification otherwise.

Those who think botting for leveling solely isn't a "legit gripe" are a little disillusioned, because people will say that if they have to spend so much time grinding to 60 then why should they let botters do it free of time?

And nearly all the botters are encountered are classified as "amateurs". They want all the benefits, but are still too afraid of being banned to leave it completely unattended. So they usually do it on a day off but remain in the house with the speakers up. That way is something suspicious is happening Glider will chime it's little alarm and they'll shuffle back to the PC trying to play it off like they weren't botting.

The only ones I leave are the bots who also skin, usually I follow them around and ninja their skins for free leather/hide. I find it especially amusing when they alarm goes off after I stole their 6th kill and NOW they come back yelling "GO AWAY!" like the first five kills I stole weren't a huge deal but now it is.

yeah, because grinding is sooo much fun! seriously every instance in wow leveling up is tank, spank, and sleep. every quest is "gather xxx item x times / kill xxx monster x times / help me get past xxx monsters / deliver xxx to x"

leveling is simply not fun after you do it [even once]. i manually leveled my first char to 60, but i would never do it like that again.

TBC is going to be funny though, going to be lotsa' shaman/paladin gliders going on that day... yup.

glider forums are so fucking funny, just read the ban threads

most of the people getting banned think they did nothing wrong and blizzard is banning them for no reason

half the topics i read someone starts talking about hiring a lawyer/contacting BBB on blizzard because they were banned for "no reason"
