Glider users?

I don't think I could stand to bot. Personally I enjoy learning how to play the class and being skilled at it than having to learn all its spells at 60. Also, the pvp from levelling is probably the most fun (out of a battleground) due to gear not making or breaking you [usually].

But understandable if you can't find time to level up due to work/school/etc. and want to raid on that character or switch your main to it. :P

surge. you play alliance chars right? i juts rerolled a new char, alliance side, and if you have some good "empty" spots that are probably unheard of (even on a "new" server), that would rock.

so far ashenvale has done me good in the early 20s (22atm). PM me when you load your profiles or w/e.

Hey Jiv..nobody recommends botting to new players. For the most part (besides the Chinese), everyone bots because they know what they're missing out on when bypassing all the lower-mid level instances. And for me, even when botting a char i've never played, I stop to BG in each bracket for rank and comfort in my class.

i may have to look into purchasing this "glider" you people are talking about... really dont like grinding and questing to 60. Got a 60 warr and a 60 mage... i want a rogue :D

While gliding tonight I got:

Sandals of the Insurgent (Rare) x 2 [crap]
Heartseeking Crossbow (Rare)
Assassination Blade (Rare) [wo0t]
Pattern: Mooncloth Bag
And bunches of greens with +agi/stamina

Was wondering how many people will be gliding when expansion hits, since Blizzard is pretty much asking for it with their rather ignorant move of giving each side the other's class. With a 60 warrior and a 60 rogue trying to level another character is getting boring as all get-out and I may consider this Glide. Not sure about these "good profiles" though, I assume they are just paths/areas that are less inhabited and designed to step-up to zones when you get to that level. Hell I'd use it just to farm leather/metal/herbs/etc. to sell on AH or to powerlevel a profession.

I guess they upped the offense for botting to insta-ban? I remember way back when botting was still in the minorities usually you got a 3-day suspension and your 2nd time caught was a ban.

Blizz banns people ever 3 months or so for hacking/cheating. If you think your safe just because you have not been caught then dont be so sure. If they banned people as cases come up then it would easy to mod whatever cheating methods and keep on testing constantly.

so damn tired, didn't bother to rename any of the files and better organize them, but there you go. using these profiles i got 2 60's gliding from level 10 to 60. if a profile says 40-45 in the name, for almost ALL of them it means there's level 40-45 mobs there

the profiles with Med in the name were made by a friend of mine, the desolace profiles and the azshara ravencrest remake are REALLY good to use, along with the bitter reaches profile that i used from 54-60

They ban people on daily basis. You're just being stupid if you get banned though. They do those mass bannings every couple of months to strike fear into the heart of the cheating community but glider isnt able to be detected by their current software, the way you normally get caught is someone reports you, GM comes to watch you and they figure it out after watching you for long enough.

That's pretty much it, most people who are banned are botting in very heavy traffic areas where you will encounter a lot of players at a time. Whether you are reported or not depends on realm. Some are more lenient than others, but more often than not Normal realms are more pro-active about stopping botters. But the way I see it if it's completely automated then there's no reason to try and farm in the more populated areas simply because the loot is better. It's hard to justify making an extra 5g an hour when you pretty much let it run and go off and do something else.
