Heard about this a month ago from someone with an inside source, wasn't sure though, but guess it was legit.

Makes me pretty happy, glad I don't play a shaman though.

Making your character 100% obsolete is pretty lame.

^what are you talking about 100% obsolete.......GOD you are such a negative bitch. You almost had a full post without whining, almost.

But that's pretty bad ass, though i was looking forward to playing a Draenei Paladin....they can still be pally's right?

i can't think of many occassions where i would want a shaman in my raid over a paladin.

If you think there's going to be anywhere *close* to the same amount of raid sots for Shamans now, you're a fool.

Two, TOPS.

when you put it that way, good point.

I was thinking both faction wise, but yeah on horde, paladins will be the shit in raiding guilds.

But i like the idea of giving factions a "new" class...will make the lower levels more populated, since it kind of forces people to reroll.

hahaha, what a half-assed attempt to fix the end-game raiding imbalance between Horde and Alliance

way to make Shamans even more useless

I love all the people saying how they will quit the game because of this change. They are complaining because they will only get 1 or 2 spots on raids because of palies. What about warlocks that only get 2 spots because of coe and ss. Sure I can crit for near 3k but in a fight over a minute (I go out of mana in 47 seconds), my dps drops to almost half. People complain just to complain.

And here I was gonna roll a BE lock :(

With both sides having all classes available it should allow blizzard to hopefully find a more individual role for each class with having one side whining that their equivilent (whether they are intended to be or not) has something that they dont.

It should mean all the whining pallies on alliance that want to play a DPS class with heals can reroll shaman without having to leave their guilds etc.

I also hope That Blizzard focus more on 5-20 man encounters as i find them more enjoyable than 40man.

Yeah as far as I can understadn the Draenei will be able to be Pallys and Shamans on Alliance and the BE's can be Pallys and Shamans on the Horde side.

Indeed, it is likely that the group figured heavily in the Horde's ultimate decision to offer membership to the blood elves.
That part made me chuckle.

Never know what shaman post-60 talents will do to change our view on having them in raids today. ATM I know we'd never have more than 2 shaman in a raid if we had access to paladins but in the expansion things will change, perhaps the raid utility of shaman is one of those things and they'll be a great asset to a raid.

Im trying to think of stuff shaman would be useful for in a raid now.
Mana totem
Poision totem
earthbind totem
