Will cross-server bgs let you group with people from other servers?

... for those who have played on the test servers. i am assuming not, but if this is possible itll be a great way to transfer gold between servers :D

I believe you can only trade things like summoned water and food. No gold or BoE items can be traded.

assuming its even possible to group with people from other servers in the battlegroup. then bliz would have to figure out how to handle a whole shitload of problems like duplicate names, communication, etc.

I believe the solution to the naming problem has been intact since launch. Also, you're going to be forced into a group for BGs in 1.12.

Gold is tracked to the individual server's ID in their system so it would really surprise me if you could transfer gold between servers.

As for the items, it would seem that they would be tracked the same way ...

hows that? how would you send a tell to a specific person if theres 2 of the same in the world?

the server name gets attached to the players name.. so like Happy-warsong and Happy-blackhand .. it was something like that from the test but i havent played for a few days

When you enter a battleground you are automatically put into a raid group. From what I've seen you cannot trade anything with someone not on your server.

I can't imagine things changing much between test servers and live in that respect.
