Uh, how so? It didn't increase our suvivorability and only Hemorrhage builds got a boost in damage.

Did you not read the part where it says "eviscerate, cheap shot, and something will now scale with attack power." Couple that with the new eviscerate book, and theres going to be insane damage for rogues in PVP.

gotta love those scaling stuns right?

Garrote, Eviscerate, and Rupture now all scale with Attack Power.

Hey look, mace rogues (*points at self*) get weapon expertise without having to spend points in it. Yay.

And before anyone goes "OMG THATS NOT FAAAAAIR" - STFU and GTFO. Sword, Fist, and Dagger specs are all good for PVP *and* end game PVE whereas currently Mace spec is only useful in solo PVP and PVP - so they're adding something to make it useful in both. God forbid.

I'd have to port my rogue over to the test realm and poke around with the review. The mage review proved to me that what looks good on paper may not look good in practice (Master of Elements, returned mana on crit doesn't provide any better sustainability). Only thing I see is buffing overall with scaling attack power, saving a lot of points by merging talents, and a couple of mainly anti-hunter things and escape tactics.

AcidBurn, the new scaling on our finishers is a joke. Eviscerate scales as so: Base Damage + (.15 * attack power).

In other words, shit. If druids scale the same as rogues, I'm going to be livid. At it's base level, Ferocious Bite & Eviscerate are equal when they use up 100 energy.

Eh, I gain 150-200 damage on Evisc, and that's not counting the new book. Seems like a pretty decent jump for me.

200 more damage at like 1500 ap. Not going to see that anytime soon as an unbuffed rogue.

That was a kind of confusing talent change. Mace spec is useless in PVE, aside from some trash mobs (who gives a shit about trash), while weapon skill is fairly useless in PVP (very minimal increase in crit/parry/hit). I guess you could count Sartura in there, but thats not really practical usage.

So PVE maces means spending 3 more talent points than fist/dagger/sword rogues for the same weapon skill bonus. Were decent end game maces more abundant, this would be more of an issue.

Wouldn't try to argue, she likes her maces. It does enough of a job to justify it, she's not as a "hardcore" player as some of the others here. Probably a good thing, the point where Tribes stopped becoming fun for me was when it started to feel like a job. Probably would be the same way in WoW, not too sure how these "hardcore" players can maintain interest grinding on dungeons to complete armor sets, etc.

How so? You're actually spending LESS talent points since you don't have to pick up mace spec AND WE.

Uh yeah, I PVP. Mace stun in PVP is fucking awesome. It's going to be nice to have +weapon skill added to the spec without having to spend extra points.
