So have any of you put in for server transfers yet?

I'm looking to move an alt or 2 over to a different server. Just wonder how much of a pain in the ass it is.

I transfered off of Lothar as soon as we were eligible.

It's pretty straightforward really.

Took a little less than a day (and that was because the transfer service was broken when we got the approval).

Moving my character to Cho'gall.. no lag, no alliance queue times for BGs (at least from what I understand, and have experienced so far).

Anyone know if we can transfer from one account to another? I'm guessing not, but I'm curious if anyone has any updated info.

You mean the owner of the account? I'm the registered owner of all 5 accounts so I'm guessing that works ...?

yea there were some people upset that they wanted to move a character from their account to their spouses but since the names were different blizzard wasnt allowing it

They ran through that, the ruling was that you could only transfer between accounts if the two accounts in question are both under the same ie. the same owner. Not sure if they changed that up but that's what it was when they were experimenting with it on select realms.
