Servers crash more in 1.3?

Does anyone here run a a server? Some servers I play on a lot lately have been crashing. The host says that it is a problem with 1.3 and it is affecting all BF2 servers. We're not sure about that...

yes sir, and client side crash as well. they said they found the reason and in the next patchg it wil be fixed.

I was going to try to play this week, but I noticed my favorites list and my overall server list doesn't have many servers listed even after to refreshing the server list. I was starting to wonder if I missed a patch somewhere along the way.

EA is quickly gaining ground on Funcom (makers of Anarchy Online) the company I thought could never lose the title of worest patching ever.

I wouldn't know - the 1.3 patch wont even install for me.

Yes. Watching the server, it can sometimes crash an hour after the last crash and I can't find any reason behind it. We use Branzone. They say the same thing.

we tried playing last night, every server we joined crashed 10 minutes into the game.

Sometimes they crash every 10 minutes, sometimes you can be on for hours without it crashing. I guess that's why you still see so many people playing BF2 on gamespy stats page, player count has dropped off but it's still #3.
