need help w/ 34 warrior

fury right now, using the whirlwind axe

i'm duoing with a RL friend of mine playing a lock, not sure what i should do at 40. get bloodthirst and stay with the whirlwind, find 2 1 handers w/ bloodthirst, or go MS with it?

if i went MS, what weapon should i replace the whirlwind with?

fury, do i ditch the whirlwind and get some 1 handers? if so, which?

With my Warrior, I've been rolling the 31/20 cookie-cutter MS build since day one. Whirlwind got me to early 40s where I bought http://www.thottbot.com/?i=9958 which I rocked with sword spec until http://www.thottbot.com/?i=40261 at 51. 54 now and still using IBS, crits are landing in the mid 800s.

What race are you?

I stuck to axes with my orc and I'm very glad I spent the time to get an Arcanite Reaper with axe specializing and the +5 to axes.

Mine: 60, Tauren, DW, Fury using 2, 1h swords. Next up is the "Dal Rend" set which will be a nice upgrade in dps.

1h or 2h seems to be a personal preference as much as anything else as both builds do very good dps.
