Eh. It was stupid and childish, but ultimately harmless except to perhaps certain parties' feelings. Eventually we'll all probably look back and laugh at how upset we got over that little incident. (Myself, I'll probably just cry over how many hours I spent grinding no less than three different resistance gears just to down bosses I'd never win loot from anyway.)

people dragging personal baggage into a virtual medium created for interpersonal entertainment is uncalled for. you can't call a "timeout" when something tragic happens and expect all the other people playing a video game to pause. I lost my grandfather a couple weeks ago, you didn't see my character go into mourning and vilify people that pk'd me in the days following. The RL connection to what they were doing in winterspring was their own business and decided to make it public. I just wanted to pvp.
