You took a lot of strnage talents in that "raiding" build.
Why resilience/mind?
Why frost warding over elemental focus?
I didn't look at your other builds yet.

I probably should have gone with Elemental Focus over Frost Warding....that was probably the PVP side of me coming out.

only thing that makes me think is where to spend 3 of my frost tree points between: piercing ice vs frostbite vs elemental focus

I've never played a Mage - yet - but I'm thinking I might start. Seems like it's a fun character to play. Mana downtime blows, however, so we'll see. I sure do love playing melee classes (Warrior/Rogue) as there is basically no downtime.
Having said that, the damage a Mage can deal out is simply ... wow ...

Having said that, the damage a Mage can deal out is simply ... wow ...
i'ma noob and all...
but i thought rogues always out DPS mages...
my 47 rogue is always the top DPS in groups unless there're other rogues or significantly higher leveled chars in the group...
EDIT: I've never been raiding... but i guess if there're groups of mobs, AoE>*

I have a 60 Rogue and a 60 Warrior (Fury) so DPS isn't really a problem for me in PvE. In PvP I've noticed that Priests - and I've got a lowbie Priest - and Mages seem to kick some pretty serious ass, hence my curiosity with the class.
