No, but someone at Blizzard was. Did you read the Draenei backstory and the FAQ on the BC site? They flip-flopped the Eredar's personality from what was the established norm AND they have a group of Draenei (who now happen to be decendants of Eredar that escaped Sargeras' corruption (remember, the Eredar were the ones that corrupted Sargeras before all of this retconning)) crashland (due to Blood Elves tinkering with their spaceship) on Azeroth fleeing from Draenor and their destruction.
