Depends, if it's 100% CG (and decently done ie. Children Advent) then it has a shot.

If they are planning on doing anything but that it'll probably come out looking stupid/goofy.

Some people didn't like FF:CA, usually saying it's "unrealistic" (See Tifa's fight in the old chruch) or that the story sucked. But I think those people didn't really play FF7. I admit the plot had a little bit more to be desired as well as more fight scenes, but all in all it was a good flick. Not to mention it's rendering was top notch down to the water and hair.

Yeah I'd be willing to give a full CG a shot, Blizzard have proven their worth in creative talent. As long as they do it right and get some proficient help it has potential.

The races of Azeroth are way too demi-human to pull off live-action. Orcs are way too large and tall for normal humans to recreate, as well has the Taurens unique lower torso. And LotR cut with with small demi-humans because there wasn't that many of them compared to the rest.

i'll keep my hopes up, but i'll keep in mind it's a video game -> movie conversion, so my hopes aren't too high.

I'll see it on opening night though, sounds interesting and i love the warcraft lore.
