Bah. You don't need to know about the fight. Just take a deep breath and wing it.

You better look around and bone up. I have seen a few FAQs made by guilds who have done it and the first couple of times takes some serious coordination. I'm sure once everyone gets used to her routine and scripted attacks it's a lot easier, but getting to learn it could be a pain.

1. Stay away from that tail at all times. Tail is never good. Which is why the MT really needs to work on keeping aggro on her. Aggro changes she moves 90 to 180 degrees and you instantly put other people near or even on top of the tail.

2. Do not cluster together. If she senses there's a lot of people clustered together (in the 2nd phase I think) she will inhale a lot of air in order to do some fire breath attack that's pretty much instant death. So spread out and make sure you got a lot of elbow room around your neighbors. It will ensure she never tries that attack.

2 Doesn't work anymore. She *will* DB you at least once now.

You need to know how to avoid it, or it will melt j00r face,

just killed her a couple minutes ago w/out a DB. we just keep dots on her and stay out of the middle. sometimes we get DB, sometimes we don't. just random imo.

Class? Spec(maybe)? Horde or alliance?

I personally like to wear FR gear, call me nub, but I afk the fight most of the time.
Phase one let the tank get aggro to 98%.
DPS medium til phase 2.
Stack dots, have the mages kill whelps each side.
Try and keep spread out, but around the walls is best, incase of random deep breaths.

Phase 3 tank gets aggro for a sec, random fears, try and stay near the wall in the middle of cracks to avoid the lava spurts.

We dropped her with 22 people last night very easily. Most of our people on were playing alts, I was probably the only geared out person.

-Don't start your light attacks until the tank has gotten her to 98% or around there.
-Dots phase 2.
--Avoid whelp pits.
--Avoid the deep breath.
-Make sure tank has aggro beginning phase 3.
--Keep the MT fear warded, or tremor totem (can also stance dance to avoid fear, watch for shaking ground).

Tank really won't need much FR, I wear wrath with the paladin aura, which ended up being like 120 FR.

We have peoplesave their mana (not healers) in phase 1, casters are just wanding.
phase 2 we have warriors and pallies kill the whelps and everyone else beats the crap out of her. Rogues can use their special attacks while below her, not white damage just specials (i dont believe this has been fixed).
phase 3 have the MT as much rage as they can and dump it as fast as possible to try and get and hold aggro.

Some FR is useful especially in phase 3.

Unless you have fire totem (goes away anyway) I like to sit myself at 200 FR (although that's with aura). Means 90% of the lava spurts are resisted, which means less strain on healers, especially as far as first attempts go. Sit there, use feint whenever need be. For basically half the fight you wont be doing much anyway, so gimping yourself a BIT for the extra FR doesn't matter.

Really? That's fun, I take it she still inhales a lot of air just prior to the attack? Is it a cone-based area or a bunch of random spots?

The entire fight for anyone not tanking is avoiding deep breaths in phase 2 and not getting tailwhipped or pulling aggro in phases one or three.

The tank does his thing and a few healers heal him
