My notebook stats:

Dell e1705/9400
Intel CoreDuo T2300 1.66Ghz
LG 17" WXGA+ 1440x900 (perfect display, no dead pixels)
GeForce Go 7800GTX 256MB GDDR3 (did the upgrade myself, it has arctic silver on it as well)
1GB PC4200 DDR2 533mhz
60GB SATA 5400RPM Hard Drive
CD-R/RW/DVD Combo drive
5.1 USB Digital surround sound card
130w Power Brick
6 cell battery

3DMark2006 ---- around 4300pts
7800GTX is running at 425/1100

I know what my laptop is worth so don't try and rip me off, you won't get anywhere. Here are some general specs on what I'm looking for in a desktop:

Ideal Desktop specs
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
eVGA 133-K8-NF41 Socket 939 SLi Motherboard
2GB (2x1GB) G.SKILL DDR400 RAM
BFG GeForce 7900GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI-Express
SAMSUNG SpinPoint P Series 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
ViewEra V192SD-B Black 19" 8ms LCD w/ DVI

This totalled at newegg is around $1300 shipped. Obviously that doesn't include a case or power supply or dvd-rom, I figured with those added on top it'll equal perfectly with my laptop in terms of pricing. I already have an external DVD-R/RW so I don't need one.

Anyways thanks for lookin, any offers feel free to post 'em or shoot me a PM or email me at tachikoma00@gmail.com

Except I'm not trying to rip anyone off by overcharging for something. This was just a blatant act of retardation.

Entirely different situation(s).

if you bothered to read his response, you would've realized why you were completely wrong (retail box vs. oem). but it's the same thing anyway. both are people threadshitting. would you like both my post and your own post deleted now, or would you like for them to remain so that all can see?

ZOMG with retail hard drive you get a manual (maybe) and some other nifty packaging!!1 I read his posts just fine. They're just stupid.

Anyone who buys a retail hard drive in the first place should be punched in the face for overpaying for shit that isn't necessary. Both (OEM & Retail) come with the same fucking warranty from the manufacturer.

And I honestly don't care if you remove our little discussion here. It's not like it deters from the product I'm selling. Anyone who's interested is still going to contact me regardless of our discussion here. :)

The point is that he was selling the retail version of the HD and that the price he was asking for was not unreasonable given that fact.

You realize that's what we're doing right this moment, right? I only asked if you wanted it removed because it wasn't really a discussion relevant to your item, but I mean, if you're okay with it. Don't be a whiny bitch and ask for help if you're going to be a hypocrite about things.

We aren't shitting on my thread, we're having a discussion that I, the thread creator, OK'd (hence my not caring if you remove our conversation). I was not OK with dumbass old_skuls retarded post, as it was not productive in anyway and was pointless.

God how the fuck did your stupid ass get mod on these forums  I wasn't being a whiney bitch and asking for help. I asked to have a pointless post removed.

I simply love how me OK'ing our discussion here somehow implied to you that I wanted old_skul's post put back. Well done. Simply brilliant.

From being fair. You asked that it (the post) be removed and I removed it, and in my own sarcastic way, let you know that it was removed, and that MAYBE you should remember that it's annoying when someone shits on your thread.

Apparently the point didn't get through to you, and you don't care, so I undid what I did already. Don't expect any one to help you when your thread gets crapped on since apparently you don't mind, and actually condone it.

As the thread creator I get to determine what is "crapping" on my thread and what isn't.

Our discussion was not. Old_skuls post was. How hard is this to understand?

Not really. I did YOUR stupid ass a favor and removed it. STRICTLY speaking, it's not threadcrapping at all.

http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7267279# post7267279

But what YOU did in SegaRob's thread is the DEFINITION of thread crapping.

What we call "thread shitting" - posting links to online retailers offering a particular product lower than the Classifieds seller's initial price, or otherwise making a product appear to be worth less - has been an increasing problem lately. This post will serve to clarify the rules and establish a "posting etiquette" for FS threads.

Inappropriate:

WTF? $500? Retailer has it for $299!!!
http://www.threadshitters.com/lowlowprice.html

Appropriate:

I'm seeing it much cheaper online. I'll offer you $285 shipped.
And if there's any question where, exactly, you're seeing it cheaper, post the link.

You should only be posting in For Sale threads if you're actually interested in whatever is for sale. This isn't an invitation for everyone on the forum to stop by and let everyone else know that they found a particular item cheaper somewhere else. That's a quick way to get banned.

Hope this helps.

If this is how we can expect your FS/T threads to go down, Project, don't bother posting here again.
