I hate haggling, i don't want a fucking 3rd world marketplace, i want a 1st world walmart with fixed prices. Is there anything like that in the game? If not, where are the best places to buy and sell?

The best places are merchants with high max cash, high disposition to you, and low mercantile skill. I believe the buy/sell % at each step are determined by your mercantile vs theirs, and their disposition affects how hard you can push them. I don't know any of those offhand, so this post is pretty much worthless. The armorer in Chorrol has a pretty high skill though, stay away from her. MikSchultzy 03-31-2006, 06:55 AM I buy/sell most of my items at Josine's (the "Good as New" store in the Imperial Market). Granted, obviously you cannot always get there without loosing precious game-time. So if I am in another city I generally pick the "General Goods" of that town. Reasong being, is they buy most, if not all of your crap. The reason I use Josine, is I did a couple of quests for her, and her disposistion to me is 100. You can raise it by using your speechcraft - which is a really easy thing to do. (Pie-puzzel) I've got most of my venders buying my items at 60% or better. I feel that's good, since I havn't put anything into my speechcraft, personality, or anything else. High buyback, perfect dispositon (I'm the Grey Fox, bitch!), and they'll take the hot swag off my hands. And Journeyman Merchantile is nice (you can sell anything not stolen to anyone who'll buy something). Current Worth of Goods Fenced: 6432gp. Rev_Night 04-08-2006, 09:16 PM ok, so according to that wiki chart, no merchant has more then 1200 gold. Well i got a few amulets that are worth 5,000+ gold. Who do i sell those to? Pubknight 04-09-2006, 12:32 PM One of the vendors with 1200 gold. MikSchultzy 04-09-2006, 01:07 PM Get merchentile up and invest, so the shops get 500more gold. Rev_Night 04-09-2006, 02:38 PM One of the vendors with 1200 gold. that only means that I will get no more then 1200 gold, for an item worth 3-4x that. Defaced 04-09-2006, 05:30 PM that only means that I will get no more then 1200 gold, for an item worth 3-4x that. Can't get anything past you, can we? | ||
