Where to find Grand Soul Gems?

I need 5 for the quest to cure vampirism and I've only been able to find 2 in shops thus far. Where else can they be found?

Did you check the mage guild halls? The alchemists in most of them sell them. Shops will also refill if you wait a few days.

Yeah, that's where I've been checking. None of them have refilled yet though :/.

Few days usually? There's also the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial City Marketplace.

I stole 2 from Rindir's Staffs too, but they might not have been empty. You need the empty ones.

Yeah, I got one from the Mystic Emporium. I'll check Rindir's Staffs.

I'm up to 3 now, 1 from Mystic Emporium and 2 from various Mage guilds. It seems like not all the mage guilds have them :/

Apparently part of the problem is that due to Oblivion using a Morrowind style Master Levelled List (mobs and items that are available scale based off your level) Grand Soul Gems are for the most part not available at low levels. That's a problem seeing as how it's very easy to become a vampire at low levels.

If you're on the PC version and tired of the Vampirism bullshit bring up the console and put in "player.additem 000977E4 1" and it will put the cure potion in your inventory.

yea im lvl 18 and since about lvl 15 ive been finding alot of them in chests while going through dungens and caves or what not that im sent to from doing the guild quest lines.

the Arcane University has one in a glass case in the lobby
