Fighter quest? There is a tomb (cave) east of the southern most town that has a set of it spread about full armor (haven't found the helm) and sword. I just walked in and gathered it, didn't know there was a quest. It's good armor for a new char but heavy as hell.

yeah its just a bit north of lewayin... its part of a fighters guild quest where you have to either pay off the debt of some faggot or retrieve their family heirloom armor so they can pay it off themselves..

also right now i'm making a mod so that when you have the full set of armor you turn into a ghost and have 100% dmg resistance to normal weapons (yes i know the max is 85%) but still, its still pretty cool... here's a shot of it in action

Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw - Heavy Armor [9 Defense]; Fortify Agility 10 on Self; Fortify Endurance 10 on Self.

Same armor as a daedric helmet, but it has enchantments on it... so I like it.

where can I get it?

You get the helmet at the completion of the warrior's guild's end quest. Once you finish that quest, you also become the Master of the warrior's guild.

It's very pretty, but the cuirass looks like my favourite nightie so seeing it on a warrior made me LOL.

Speechcraft (I think...or was it alchemy? Well, whatever, I'm too dumb to really use either of them...except for Speechcraft, to negotiate with the lady to buy that shack on the Imperial Waterfront)

For my first run through, since I never played Morrowind (or ANY Elder Scrolls game, for that matter), I'm just getting a feel for things by playing through the game with my preferred form of subtlety -- equipping a claymore and charging headlong into a huge mob of enemies in heavy armor, shearing through people with unadulterated brute force. The Restoration skill is there because I'm too lazy at present to hotkey anything beyond the basic heal spell, so I figure I may as well go the paladin route (how very un-Benreedian) and bone up on Resto to reduce my downtime and make bolting like a pussy back to town a bit more practical.

Once I get a better handle on how the game works, I figure I'll see what kind of reasonably foul necromantic black knight I can create as my more appropriate Oblivion avatar.
